After this, we are moving onto learning how to paint trees in the least strokes while creating foliage that is distinctive and particular to the types of trees we paint.

The beach of Santa Barbara
For thanksgiving, we rented a tiny condo in a quad-plex cottage. It was 10 minutes from the beach. This was inter, but didn't feel like that on the beach on Thursday. Then, on Friday, just when we were at the beach in the evening, the rolling pink clouds just rolled over the mountains bringing with them gusts of wind.
When I painted the painting later that night, the wind was still in my hair.
